Everyone BUT someguy has rolled now, and we're looking like a pretty coherent party. We've got a pilot, a captain, a doctor and a manpuncher.

I guess an Engineer/Navigator would fit in pretty well for the crew, as would a broker/trader type nobleman.

Make him a trader with Engineering(J-drive), unless the computer handles that stuff. Then I want a puppy and/or a pony.

Okay, game is set for the 13th. Sorry Someguy, but at the moment it's looking like someone who had to pull out earlier due to time concerns, has managed to step back in - But, it depends whether Montag confirms here. It'll be on the 13th, 7pm BST.

Good first session. I thought the plot with the planet of totally-not-similar "people" was good and the boarding party was a nice touch. The battle at the end was well placed. I just wish I'd had the thoughts to raise the alarm before DW started mentioning the loitering soldier. Oh, well. Great round and excited for the next one.

I vote for this. If we're going to have sessions once every two weeks or so, we should do a good 3-4 hours at least. Or, alternately, we could have a 1-2 hour session every week, same time as this first session.

The 25th onward or the weekend would be better (I've a major project deadline on the 24th), also with travel the earliest I can do weekdays is 7pm onwards.
