Huge queues tonight. Hope they add a lot of servers when the game goes live.
They have another 2 EU servers sitting there, still. I guess they're still stress testing stuff atm. Probably the queue system, it seems pretty buggy.
I picked up the beta just before my holiday, managed to get into the outfit and I'm glad to see it moved to Wednesdays! Will be online for sure.
You might want to try logging in a bit earlier. Queues have benn up to five minutes or so this kinda time the past few nights.
I may be a bit late. Depends how firing cannons at balloons goes.

Good time tonight, I am starting to get a feel for the game now
Ok, Wednesday's coming up.
Any preference between Esamir and Indar?
By now some of us know Indar really very well, though I'm slowly coming round to Esamir. It does encourage large MBT formations and Gal drops over infantry engagements. I still can't get past that prety nasty fog shader on that onctinent. Feels like I'm playing in an atmosphere made of chicken soup.

I tend to say Esamir. For some strange reason I seem to get the better and more interesting fights there. It's a bit MBT heavy but else I kinda prefer it, especially the base layouts.
*EDIT*
As the game keeps crahsing and I doubt there will be a patch until tomorrow I won't be there. It's just no fun when the game keeps doing that (about) every 20 minutes.

I vote for Esamir as well. I love the tank combat and I'm getting a bit bored with the whole The Crown/Titanium Alloys battle.
I'm going to second Boris's suggestion and add that perhaps while the usual Crown/TAlloys battle is going on, we go on a splinter faction mission and roll tanks and galaxy drops into enemy lines to eat away at their resources and have a general good time.
I avoid the Crown / TI regardless.
Unless I'm looking to ramp up XP quickly; as defense the Crown is a cert machine. A boring cert machine, but there you go.

The queuing system seemed a bit messed up last night too, so give yourself time to get into the server.
So I just got into the beta and I have NO IDEA what I'm doing. Would love to get in on this with some of you peoples :)
If I jumped on around 10:00 UTC will people still be around?
For those new to the game, if there's no one on Mumble, the best thing you can do is join a public squad that is listed with something like "use VOIP".
(click on the menu icon that looks like the busts of two people and then select squad from the left manu).
LdD, ISK and Dignity are the outfits that tend to run the better Public Platoons.
Or just wait until Wednesdays.
I'll do some kind of big "welcome to Planetside 2" event upon release. Partly because the game's new player experience is really shit. There's pretty much nothing to explain to players what to do, how base captures work, resource mechanics etc.
