MP seems to be P2P which makes it annoingly laggy.
My turns like to "freeze", which means I can't take any other action after moving, shooting etc. That or a regular move counts as dashing for no reason.
Also all these animations count into your turn time which in a game of 90 secons results in hardly time to think.
All put together I wouldn't consider MP in a playable state right now.

Take it with a grain of salt, the game was just released in the EU when I said that. The server's might have been under bigger strain then they are now.

count me in for this, as soon as the game arrives and I beat SP XD
I'm also in for a game sometime, I tried a match for the first time some days ago and was a bit confused with the squad creating and points allocation. I ended up with a couple of squadies with beginner armor because was over of my points limit and the opponent had a full equiped colonel running around. Really weird.

I played a few MP rounds (not ranked) and it went ok but was quite confusing in the beginning. It is weird how some guys can sneak up on you. I m guessing they had ghost armour?
I had the same feeling as Ravelle. It seemed some times that the other guys squad was better equiped with the same points or that the amount of points differed from time to time.
Also, I was thrown in the same map 3 times in a row by the game.
Anyway I have finished the SP, so I m ready as well.
With 10k you can get two guys in Titan Armour with Alloy Cannons.
I have yet to find a strategy to beat this, because that is the strategy 90% of the people I've played have used in the 10k bracket.

Hmm I have not encountered this yet. Maybe battle scanner and sniper to pick them off?
spam sectoid commanders and MC them (they have alien grenades as well)? or one ethernal and MC? or spam something that flies to reduce their acc to a minimum.

As I understand it, there is no way to see your opponent's squad before starting the match, right? You can only see him/her spending points as far as I can tell.
Yup, and an Ethereal/sectoid commanders will do absolutely fuck all if they opt for Cryssalids/ect.

Just won my first 5 games in a row with 3 Sectoid Commanders and 1 Sectoid.

Played my first 3 ranked matches yesterday and run into the invisible, titan-wearing, canon-wielding people. I got my ass kicked... I need to take a closer look at the points allocation thing, I don't understand how they can afford 2 of those and a laser sniper.
I could do that at some point BF4E - Although then I'd have to record it and put it on MY youtube channel.

Has anyone noticed that auto-matchmaking seems to be locked to the region you are in (Nordic countries and Russia in my case)?
