A little bit of wee came out.
Come Tuesday I have a feeling I might have to fly to the US on, err, business, and start playing. Also known as VPNs can tunnel underneath internet oceans.
But if the man from Steam asks, I'm in the US on business.

...and this couldn't go in the main XCom thread... why?
"Swans are so big, they're like the Ostriches of the bird world"
Hell, perhaps it could. Just seemed worthwhile to point out that preloading was now live on Steam, something I've not seen mentioned elsewhere.
In the grand scheme of things sure it could go in a.n.other thread. I don't particularly consider this to be crime of the century however.
Played Dark Souls. Closed it. X-Com pre-load announcement appears.
Dishono(u)red pre-loads are also up. Friday is going to be hard.
Is this normal for EU? I thought pre-loading starts 2-3 days before launch (which for the EU should be the 12). I m hoping it's a mistake and we can play from Tuesday.
Play Arma2:CO with us. (It isn't nearly as difficult as you might think.)
It's okay to not like things.
I think they just release the pre-load at the same time for everyone. Borderlands 2 pre-load happened a week before too, but the game still came out on the Friday for us UKers.
Also, I believe the use of a VPN is against the Steam rules. I'm not sure if people have been caught out using it, but it doesn't seem worth losing your account over a few days.
