Phew -- for a moment there I was concerned they'd somehow been screwed after doing a nice thing. Good to see idiots getting there comeuppance.

Well they were screwed in a certain way, people getting more than one game and Eastern Europe guys doing scripts to get "infinite" keys and then go trade them on steam, that's an horrible thing to do to someone who is showing an immense care for the community by giving one free game to everyone.

PM-only keys is a good idea.

You could change the name of the thread so that people know before they even enter the thread. RPS Kindness Club - Post No Keys Here and then update the first post? Just a thought.

And yeah, I think a minimum posts rule is being a bit draconian, just follow your heart, maaaan. Personally I only give stuff up to someone who appears to be a genuine member of the RPS community, even if they are a new one.

I guess giving key by key by email to people who you interract with would solve the problem most of the time.

I saw a guy who gave tons of key coupons on reddit and most of them were snatched by some jerks... People can be amazingly kind and others can be pure a**holes.
