Balls! And here was me thinking that no one else would enter the limerick contest, so my "attempt" would automatically win.
I was hoping most of Europe would be asleep, making my chance at winning greater.
Guess you can never underestimate the reach of the internet in this regard. At any moment, whatever a person can do with the internet will be done at any given moment of the day.
Alas, we also have pesky America to deal with, not to mention them Aussies.
I'm reading through the submissions so far, and well done indeed. Some of these are quite wonderful, and some of you need to look up the definition of a limerick. *ahem* I'll be picking a winner tomorrow around noon (in East-Coast Americaland), to give all the time-zones a fair chance.
While we wait with baited breath to read the best Limericks, I have a Frozen Synapse key to give away. Just pm me to get it. Its a really great game that allows you to take as much time as you need between turns so even if you are short on time, you can still play a match as well as your opponent.
