16 gigs of RAM... 2x8 or 4x4?
The question is in the title. I'm looking at DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) RAM. Is it faster or of any benefit to have two sticks of eight, or four sticks of four?

Depends on your motherboard. If your motherboard supports quad channel memory, you want 4x4. If it supports dual channel it's less important; given equal pricing I'd probably go for 2x8 since the risk of a bad DIMM is lower.

Good point. Gotta play those percentages.
GIGABYTE GA-770TA-UD3 is my mobo. It appears to only support Dual Channel memory, so I think I'll go with 2x8.
Thanks for the reply!
