    Also this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dnjzdZXl_c

Rayman is just lovely. Utterly lovely.
I think of [the Internet] as a grisly raw steak laid out on a porcelain benchtop in the sun, covered in chocolate hazelnut sauce. In the background plays Stardustís Music Sounds Better With You. Thereís lots of fog. --tomeoftom

You ruined his point by putting it in context thatís cheating -bull0

Anyone who thinks Rayman is lovely has obviously never played the original game. It taught me the meaning of anger.

I have never played the original game. So I revise: Rayman Origins is simple but lovely and Legends looks like an expansion of all that was lovely about Rayman Origins with new loveliness to boot.

Our of curiosity, what's bad about the original Rayman?

It's certainly one of the hardest games of the 90s and I'm not using that lightly. It starts easy enough but then you reach bongo hills and the difficulty spike is going to impale you. It just goes from there. Then there's the boss fights from the deepest pits of hell. You also have to find all the collectibles before you can even fight the final boss. The farthest I had ever made it was the space mama bossfight which is insanely difficult.
I had to buy a shitty Gravis gamepad just to get this far:
    to wound the autumnal city.

I think you just inadvertantly sold me on a Saturn-PC controller adapter.

If we could have procedurally generated levels based on your own music...

So let me get this straight. These are just promotional videos of custom made levels and music of a game that will look and play 90% different?

No, these levels are in the game.

The entire game isn't musically themed and side wipingly fast though.

Please elaborate. Definitions of things isn't something I see discussed enough here.

Damn, they should do entire game filled with these music levels.

Also I agree that Oranges are hard. Gave up at fight with one of the bosses and this comes from person who finished Dark Souls.
In DS I can at least survive 3-4 hits from boss, in Oranges 2 hits and you're gone. ._.

I only played Rayman 2, the one in 3D. It was kinda hard, but nothing special. Clearly they learned.
Oranges is really hard too, but only the optional objectives and extra missions. They learned twice!

Is this game "More-Rayman-Origins" or does it feel like a true sequel? Not that more-rayman-origins would be a bad game...

I didn't play much of Origins, but I think Legends improves on its creative and evolving level designs. Legends includes a whole bunch of (unlockable) levels from Origins.

They added a "Restart Sequence" option (checkpointed restart), which makes it considerably easier to 100% if that's your thing.
