So those last two were an accident. I was too eager to buy and didn't notice that I bought a bloody flash weapon. That said, I tried it out earlier and it was rather effective, so I suppose it's not the end of the world. Meant to buy the Kobalt as a secondary for the sunderer, but again I read it wrong. That said, I only paid 100 certs for that one and it won't be unhandy, not to mention having the basilisk as a secondary still on the sunderer probably isn't too bad. On top of that, I bought all of those at 15% off, so even with mistakes, I'm still up a few hundred SC on my expectations.
I will eventually buy a shotgun, but I'm going to wait for that to go on sale a bit, I think. Anyhow, moral of the story is, check extra to make sure what you're buying is actually what you want!
If it makes you feel better Flash Fury is actually on my to buy list.
Tried getting in, but getting wildly different errors. Seems the server are very unstable at the moment.

I've pumped in a little cash, not really my policy on F2P games, but I've certainly had my money's worth.
But I'm in 2 minds about giraffe camo, 1 part of me says "you have to buy it", the other part says "Don't go with the herd, look, there's Zebra camo too".
So, I'll probably end up with giraffe on vehicles, zebra on infantry.
As for stuff to actually shoot people with? Sounds like there's going to by so many saurons about that we'll be short of people to fire the bloody things. Second bursters? Can't hit anything with the first one, probably stick to just chucking down ammo.
Maybe a new gun for Engi or Medic then.
Get dual bursters. That is all.

Since I totally suck as a pilot this is basically all I need at the moment. I still have a lost of SC - so will probably buy xp booster to make up for lost certs after move to Steam - anyone knows if double xp event will also multiply booster?
I think it's +150% in total, combining double xp and boost.
As for the pilot thing, I think the 3xSC and the double xp is a nice opportunity to give it a try. It's just so much cheaper to get both the weapons and the cert upgrades now. And, as it has been mentioned in another thread, might we organise a flight school, or general tomfoolery with a side of learning not to crash? "Flying Giraffes: the 20minuters" (let's doooo it!)

Scythe: A2A & A2G (certed IR vision for A2G) missiles. Considering the Turbo Laser
Liberator: Dalton & Zephyr (certed IR vision for both)
MAX: second Burster, right arm Nebula (CQC AI)
HA: Pulsar LSW (was on sale, only 125 SC). Larger mag, less recoil than the standard Polaris.
Looking to buy an AR for my Medic, and a carbine for the Engineer. Corvus, CME and Equinox all seem nice for the Medic, as for the Engineer, I don't have a clue, beyond the Solstice SF.

True, but that means that when one goes down, we can spawn immediately another one, and the pair goes into that one. Plus on Wednesdays there are lots of people around to operate them all.
I'm planning on buying something for my (VS) MAX (AI and AV secondaries, already have 2nd burster, most likely also getting the armor. Looks badass) and maybe Liberator. Can someone give me an advice on those?
