In progress Indie games that look quite good

Thought I would start a thread with some indie games which are in the development cycle that look promising.

Here is my starter for 10:

Starfarer - http://fractalsoftworks.com/

Looks like the combat ARPG bits of Space Rangers 2 and combat of SPAZ.

I haven't bought it yet (it's early access Alpha/Beta/whatever), since I'm busy ploughing through my recent purchases (Hotline Miami, Chivalry and XCOM) I thought some of you might like to take a look

Also, as a fan of turn based squad combat I'm enjoying http://www.steammarines.com/ - its a weird little retro laser squad type game, a bit rough round the edges but it tided me over nicely until XCOM came out...

Anyone else got some bookmarked games they have been keeping an eye on?

I like the idea and am looking forward to some realistic driving physics.

Prison Architect looks good, I'm concerned that $30 is a little steep.. I say this despite probably spending 60% of my game funds on indie games, £10/$15 is more of an impulse purchase for me...

I love the Castle Story concept, will keep an eye open for it.

I have a fairly long google docs list of games in development, so I can remember to anticipate them. Otherwise they might get released without fanfare and I'll never play them. But off the top of my head,

Crypticsea's A New Zero (the physics driven FPS)

Project Zomboid (isometric real-time zombie game)

Bionite: Origins (battlezone spiritual remake)

Xenonauts (X-com-like)

Wollay's Cube World (action-rpg in a generated voxel world)

Centration - Space Station 13 as a FPS, with physics and stuff

Xenonauts is the only game I am actively looking forward to, to the extent that I watch ever alpha update playthrough on Youtube.

The projectile system looks like something from 1996 and it isn't going to improve, but other than that it's shaping up well. I wish they'd used Unity instead of their 2D tile-based engine, though, because their progress is limited by how fast they can render and paint thousands of 2D sprites. :(

I'm looking forward to Kenshi. I have access to the alpha, but I'd rather wait until it's done. The creator says it'll probably be another couple of years.

Those are some amazing shots of Afterfall. I will need to check that game out.

A little self-promotion (sorrrryyy) but we've recently announced our new indie title, Nightrealm Tales. Its a fantasy based FPS for the PC. Class based with a focus on melee and magic combat. It's still early in development, but we think its a unique take on the FPS genre compared to other titles on the market. They've already been mentioned but my big two that I'm looking forward to are Project Zomboid and Prison Architect - I got in on alpha funding both of them. Castle Story and Star Command also look very promising, but not quite as excited.

Well original game got very poor reviews,what i posted is from Remastered edition,which improves allot of stuff original game failed at.. Only one review is for improved version and i think it scored around 8 or 8.5
