"And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves." ~ 1 Samuel 8:18
Skyrim and Pokemon. Basically, I just want to capture and tame a dragon. Or unleash my own personal wolf pack on my enemies. Carrying around a huge, fire-breathing beast in a little ball might break the immersion a bit though.
After some long, serious thought, I've finally made my choice:
Shadow of the Colossus and Poleriders.
Wot I Think: The Game : an ongoing collaborative game-design experiment / comedic disaster here on the RPS Forums!
Kata vs. Kata : a game of simultaneous round-based predictive martial arts (like frozen synapse, but with punches)
Crossroads: The Haze : a game about princes eating soup in a turn-based wolf prison [*oversimplification detected*]
c-Row, you have no idea how excited I got when I saw those sprites. And then I was sad because I realized that it wasn't actually anything that was going to happen. :(
I also just noticed your signature. That's the whole reason I play the song. :D
... I take the lives of a few to protect the lives of many. I commit acts of war to preserve the greater peace. I take no joy in killing, but make no mistake; I'll do what needs to be done. Because it's my job. It's my duty. My name is Sam Fisher, and I am a Splinter Cell.
Splinter Cell (circa Chaos Theory) + Tenchu
To my knowledge there has still never been a relatively realistic/down to earth, 100% stealth/espionage ninja game. Tenchu comes closest but you still sail through the air like you're in a Wuxia film and the characters are all anime looking.
A ninja game like SC with "ninja tools" + maybe Hitman's disguises would be epic if executed properly.
