Cause having cheats in your own Online sandbox is bad... tax the cheat codes!

On the other hand, if the in-game currency has a real world value attached to it. Doing something like a coordinated heist would have real reward and could bring a lot of tension to the proceedings.
I write about them video games at these locations

"WTS stolen rare red Mustang on server #135, $1million in game currency or $2 to my Paypal"

"The game and its economy have been designed and balanced for the vast majority of players who will not buy extra cash," the post reads. "There is no in-game paywall and nothing that should disrupt the balance of the game. You don't have to spend real money to attain the cars, guns, clothes, flash and style of a high-roller in Los Santos, but can if you wish to get them a little quicker. The economy is balanced differently from the single player economy, and cash earned in one cannot be taken over to the other. Most players will earn cash much faster Online than in Story Mode."
Sad its standard now from developers to charge for speed up mechanics, even for non F2P. Allow people to do it as the game designed and allow people also to cheat if they want. Some people want the cheat for $1 billion and be able to go bonkers with their spare time they have to play.

GTA has multiplayer since San Andreas, and I bet Rockstars is working hard to take GTA online players away from it since GTA 4 multiplayer doesn't seem to have popularity comparable with SA.

I'm not sure about the PC version, but on PS2 there were places you could go to activate a two player coop. I don't remember if it was entirely free roam or if it was activity based, though, and it was just two players.

That mode was pretty shit - It was better just to trade the controller with a buddy when you died.
