Anyone who approaches economics at all with the assumption of rational agents is doing it wrong. Sure, people try to make rational decisions. And we're pretty good at synthesizing data, so our attempts at rationality are set up for some nice foundations ... but we're awful at remember where that data comes from. Is it from the photograph Mom showed me, or from my episodic memory of the event itself? Was it because I actually shot the guy, or because the police psychologically abused me for hours on end until I couldn't even prove to myself that I didn't shoot the guy anymore? Was it because I was worried that stocks were going to fall because of current market trends, or was it because someone important said things on television and some of them were about economic projections that other people on television said might be bad maybe sort of?

Before we even get into the power of emotional response and emotional thought, rational thinking based on the type of memory that humans are best at is ... an unfortunate sort of rationality on which to rely.

Dawn of War 1 has loads of expansions, something like four or five depending on if you get Winter Assault with the copy of Dawn of War or not. Then it has Dawn of War 2 which also has loads of DLC. Space Marine has about two or three DLCs. Dawn of War is the better of the THQ 40k games, not that Space Marine was terrible, but they put the right one in the bundle.

Dawn of War is good. The best campaign is in dark crusade though.

    Kinda agree.

The campaign in Dawn of War and Winter Assault are both more story driving. The one in Dark Crusade is like playing a game of Risk. I enjoyed both, but if you want to hear a story as opposed to make up your own, Dawn of War. If you want your own, Dark Crusade.

Plus in DC you get to play as Necrons which is always a win!

Am I wrong in thinking that the Dawn of War in the bundle is only the original, without any of expansions? It seems like the 'Game of the Year' version has some extra maps and stuff, but that's all.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Game of the Year Edition features the amazing original Dawn of War game as well as eight additional maps and additional online modes.
    So yeah, no expansions.

Meh 1 is so old and has been made utterly obsolete by 2 (I think). Plus I actually have 1 =.=

Dawn of War 1 and it's expansions are a completely different type of game to Dawn of War 2.

1 is very much a base building RTS, 2 is more Commandos style with a DOTA style multiplayer.

What the hell have you been playing? DOW2 is like Company of Heroes on crack. It's faster, more intense, and you get ripped apart for your mistakes easier. "DotA style" is something you clearly don't understand. It doesn't have lanes or creeps, but it does have map control.

I found that the mode where you fight waves of creeps is both fun and somewhat reminiscent of Dota, even though it's cooperative rather than competitive.

    Re Commandos
The campaign of DoW2 is very much like a commandos style game where you have a limited amount of guys with a limited amount of equipment each one being a specialist in a field. In DoW2, instead of it being one guy per specialization, you get around a 3 man squad (devastators, scouts, marines).

    Re Dota
3v3 in a Map Control game where dominate control wins. Sounds a lot like DOTA or LOL to me. Obviously minus the creep. I'd also argue is does have lanes as most of the maps I remember playing you could split into 3 lanes.

I've not played company of heros so I can't draw a comparison to it so I'll draw a comparison to the closest game I've played.
