Civilization 4: Colonisation - Caribbean Shortie
This game has 2 principle map types, the American landmass and to what we are using here the Caribbean Islands.
I'm making it a short game, this will make it more appropriate for beginners but everyone is welcome.
If you can on me your email address, the in game general you want to be and the names and adjective you want to call your town.

The first game has been trotting along nicely, I know loads of people will have gotten this alongside civ 4 and not even given it a second but it really is a vastly superior. In civ every town is identical clone village. Differentiated only by the slow burn of culture. In col you juggling the economic advantages of being disloyal vs the threat of homeland aggression.
It is quite the thing.

Yeah. a fun game. I wouldn't say that it's better than CivIV, but it's a good game in its own right and I'm not sure why it isn't more loved.
I don't think I'm doing so well. But hey, we'll see :)

for a nice game we need 1-4 or 8 (4 teams of 2).

This really isn't Civ in anything but name. In civ a size 9 town is the centre of everything and will remain so, (okay the civic slavery changed that) but in civ col your people can flow like mercury. Sure a town might have a cotton mill but have you flooded the nearby cotton fields with workers.

It's not the winning that matters to me, it's sacking natives that really matters.

Because we have a few newbies I think I might go with a "new world" map rather than Caribbean, multitasking with boats isn't very beginner friendly.
I'll create the game shortly for 5 with all newer players buddied up... anyone have any preferences?

Okay... I've conquered pitboss! I'm not even sure if its preferable to a dropbox, but its more secure and flows better with simultaneous turns. But it does mean remembering 3 or so passwords (your gamespy password, the games password:just "rps" and your countries password)
Also, I need to create the game with your leaders preselected.
... Higher chance of a crash losing progress
