The Grey letters - Grey background thing is a bit of a strain on the eyes. Maybe make the letters darker? Or make them contrast strongly with whatever background you choose to have. Or, just have a border, box thing underneath/around the text?

Also, you can add my name to the list of contacts at the bottom, i'm all registered for the TVA TS now and outfit leaders know who i am on /Leader chat.

I think that's due to the drop lighting on the text (or whatever it's supposed to be called, not done typography in ages).
Basically the text all has a much lighter version behind it and that gives a slight blurry double impression of the text which is unsuitable for anything beyond a header.

I like the look very much! Nice and toned down. Agree with previous posters on the backlit text being hard to read, though.

Also "We are not difficult to miss." probably has one negation too many?

Think it's the white drop-shadow on all the text that messes with the eyes. Perhaps try without?

@ Nick: Agree. Was planning on remvoing text shadow from the CSS. Once we have logo / background set out I'll sort out a complimentary colour.
Edit: Shaodw removed. Ctrl+F5 in Firefox to refresh without cache & pull the new CSS file

Might be an idea to get all our media linked up and working on Coopers site in time for the war correspondent video release. Even if some of the aspects arnt finalised yet... This coverage might well bring in a lot of publicity and interest from more aware PS2 players, so having all the presentation prepared would be great.

Plus, that might be a good time to launch our front page article request?

Someone last night told me not to use Galaxy locking to force drop everyone, since it would warp people back to the warpgate. I didnt notice this effect last night, nor did anyone directly complain about it. So I decided to run some tests today. First with random people entering my Galaxy.

What happend is that people dropped normally in my visuals, I could see them on the map, and I got deploy kill bonusses.

Next up I asked Bynn to help me test(thanks!) and I could drop him succesfully in both instances we tried.

Now offcourse this doesnt mean the warping may not happend again, but for now it appears to be (bug)fixed. Although I do think it would require some more testing with bigger numbers before I'm certain of this.

That's the first I've heard of force dropping causing a warp back to the gate, and I've dropped a bunch of people that way (admittedly not in a while since the giraffes have learned to listen to that weird voice saying 'drop drop drop!')

I've also been using it for a while, but yesterday it was recommended not to do as such. Anyway, I'll be online tonight for more testing!
