ProSiebenSat? I'm using SOE's because I have no wish to get a ProSieben account after what Cooper said about them plus what I read on reddit from past users' experience.

I'm using a SOE account, perhaps that's why the most I see is 10,000.

Got an SOE one as well. It's like from Star Wars Galaxies.. Used that for the beta so yeah.

Will likely get 5000 (15000) since I already spent a lot. Will be buying 3000 or so for a broke friend as a gift as well.

Haven't got an idea on what to spend it on except giraffe camo though (gettin all of em for sure).

I hear rumours that you can bypass Pro7.sat by making an account for a different SOE game and then log in with that account in PS2. Haven't tried it myself as I was in beta anyway but it might be worth a shot for the rest of you.

oh you can make a PS2/SOE account, you just cant play it. It wont let you use it in the SOE launcher. You have to get the EU one. Trust me, I tried.

Also, if the SC is cheaper in the EU thing, why would you get a US one specifically? Sat1ProSieben shenanigans aside.

Alpha packages, beta accounts and Sat1ProSieben shenanigans are all reasons people would use US ones. Add to that that until now, I doubt most people even knew (I didn't) that Sat1ProSieben were selling SC in different amounts than SOE.

Yeah, but if youre new anyway, why bother with the US accounts if you live in the EU or otherwhere, that was sortof my point. No need to "bypass the system".

Also, I never saw the US site, so I didnt know the most you could buy was 10k in the US.

Is SC really cheaper for ProSieben in the EU? Why?

I don't understand why they had to involve a third party in this, SOE games have run totally fine in the EU before..

119 per € on the US site.
136 per € on the EU site.

(standard rate, not triple, cheapest offer ie. max SC per €)

However, if you can buy the stuff in dollars on the US site, then paypal will convert accordingly, so that would even it out more.

Highly doubt you can buy US for an EU PS2 account.

I calculated the same numbers, and that's just quite the oversight from SOE..

Apparently the triple SC offer is only for SOE accounts, not Pro7. So, unless someone already has a Sony account, no triple SC for the rest of us. Put more simply, North Americans and Antipodeans get the offer, but not Europeans. ProSieben's line is "Sony's events are not our own, we will notify you in the future about our own events".

    And this sucks. Big time!

I hadn't paid attention to it before, but we Europeans purchase SEVENcash, not STATIONcash (emphasis my own).

Damn that sucks. Hope ProSiebenSat have their own deal...and reading that thread it seems SOE has StationCash while ProSieben has its own currency.

EDIT: As MrEclectic pointed out, different currencies used.
