Depends. I'm the kind of person who gets Christmas present shopping done at end of November/early December. Also in Norway you kind of only pay half tax during Christmas. Kind of, as employers basically takes 50% of the tax you are supposed to pay in December and instead "spreads it out among other 11 months", so you get more money in December and the Treasury/IRS gets the taxes it demands. I think other countries have something similar, so sizeable number should have some cash reserve.
It is also the norm that most salaries are paid in the middle of the month, state and county employees usually at the 12th of every month.

According to reddit where I found it, it is apparently data-mined from the ingame files and supposed to rotate into ingame marketplace when 21st December rolls in (in US west coast that is).

nope, they use paypal, which means they use a "real" convertor.

edit: actually, not because of paypal, but 10k points is 84€. and 100$.

Don't you pay in your own currency? Its about 80 odd euro for 10,000 points and maybe 60-70 odd pounds for 10,000 points. You don't pay 100e and get more points.

Station Cash is currently available in the following denominations: SC500, SC1,000, SC2,000, SC2,500, SC5,000, SC10,000.

Which would suggest it's $100 for 10,000SC, which means it'd be 80ish euro.

nope, I can only select 13500SC for payment, which costs 99€. (as highest, I mean)

I can only select up to 10000 SC. And I'm forced to use NOK, being in Norway.

In the States, 10000 SC is 100 $ which is 561 NOK at currency exchange.

However being in Norway, SOE lists 10000 SC at 680 NOK which is 121 $ at the moment.

As you can see due to the oceans, I have to paid 20 $ more than Americans. Would prefer to use dollars definitely.
