To whom it may concern,

Raw meat in a barrel with water does not preservation make. One of the row-boats was loaded with raw meat that was spoiling, so I cooked it all up, built a Food Storage Bin, and threw it in. Cooked meat lasts longer, and can still be used as an ingredient in dishes.

On a related not, where did you get all that god damn horse meat?

Can you get a cart onto a boat?

Unrelatedly, has anyone found the kind of furs you could use to make a bed?

I made my own boat, but I can't get the rope for it.. I have wemp and everything, but the success chance on making a mooring rope is like 8% so I am asking how did you level ropemaking or how did you get those ropes?

Hey mate, I kinda got your boat stuck on a deed near Shadowdale. The long and short of it is that the boat is beached and only you can drag it back into the water. So, um, sorry about that. Let me know if you need help finding Shadowdale.

You can't get a cart in a boat, but you can store items in the boat itself.

The row-boat holds the same # of items as a small cart (see:100).

If anyone wants my little plot of land at our first village (The village on the first island) then they can have it. It'll be a great place to learn how to play the game, it's a safe place to keep your items and a nice place to farm stuff. I'll happily hand it over for free to any RPS'ers

What kind of direction is it between the village on the first server and that on the second? I doubt I'll manage to get rope in a timely fashion but other than that my boat's creeping towards completion

I am constructing a guide to get there, just head south from the SE corner of pristine

Here we go:
When you get to release you will see something like this upon approach

Head to the left (East) and continue south along the edge of the coast past the large island towards the big peak.

Past the peak the coast looks a bit like this:


You will see capnhank's settlement on the right


Keep going and you will see the serrated mountain

And round that corner are a few islands


Guide your way between the first two heading inland and you will see two bays separated by an outcrop

Ours is the one on the left (south) you can tell by the green moss with a couple of squares of Tar. Aim for that and you will see my shack as you get closer.

So today was an eventful day in the new settlement.


Here is the ''Buoyant'' Bison, I guess I need to stop eating all that cake :D






And also a map of our cave, where we found iron.

Black represents the entrance of the first cave.
Brown is dirt.
Purple are the places where I ''only found rock'' so there is nothing there in a 3 tile radius.
Black crosses mean that it is in 3 tile radius of ''only found rock'' and there will be nothing.
And we actually found iron where the arrow is :D










P.S Two guys joined our settlement today, so our grand total is 4 settlers at Willow Cave.
