This is cool. The guy's got a bit of a mad-scientist vibe going on, quite aside from homemade augments..

I do not abide by the restraints imposed by ethics committees who attempt to regulate human enhancement. Their arguments will be obsolete 10 years from now.
Makes me feel like his next accomplishment will be announced in the manner of "Those fools at the Academy called me insane...!"

I appreciate being induced to learn what the Tragus is, also.

Magnets in the fingertips is pretty common place now. It's probably the most basic "enhancement" people can have done.

I wonder what happens when he goes through a strong magnetic field though.

The first proper question (other than "why?") about MRI was exactly what sprung to my mind. I've seen the strength of NMR magnets and I can't imagine that sort of thing playing well with magnetic implants.

So he needs to stick his finger in his ear to hear them? How's that an improvement, exactly?

I guess if he wanted to he could maybe connect his little cable transmitter to a phone, then when he's talking to someone on the phone he can feel like he's in a movie and has a secret communication device.
