So far I can spot no GfWL-logo on the website, only a nondescript "PC" in dull grey. Fingers crossed!

Well I'm not sure if it was GFWL's fault, but I must have had 10 failed summons for every correct one. No matter where the issue lies they have to fix that.

I spent like half an hour helping a guy configure his router so I he could summon me. That's not what I had in mind when they promised me jolly co-operation.

That is strange, I clicked on it but nothing happened. The PC-logo is the only one not being linked on darksoulsii.com as far as I can tell. Are you sure you clicked on the PC and not the XBox-logo next to it? ;)

Well, when all is said and done, the chance of it actually not including GFWL are next to none.

Then again, the game itself is at risk of being made for ye olde common denominator.

To be fair the PS3 version had this exact same problem.

The online stuff was waaaay worse on 360 than on PC. I think it was the weird invisible lobby server architecture stuff designed for the game rather than anything to do with respective platforms or presence of GFWL that caused the online issues.

I think the big problem is that the MP was so closely integrated into the SP. So most people didn't even know they had to do crap like port forwarding or enabling UPnP.
