I approve of that ride. How's it handle its heat?
I'm punching 'o' more often than I'd care to admit, but that's generally more down to pilot error me thinks. Heat efficiency is 1.09. When it gets toasty I try to rely more on the AC but it being an Ultra that can be tricky too, what with the possibility of jamming if I get overzealous.
tl;dr It gets warm but I'm happy with it.

What I like about high-heat rigs is that, typically, you have to think about how and when you're going to shoot. The temptation to go all-out alpha all the time is huge, of course, but I like the dynamic of switching between lasers and ACs -- something I do a lot of in my Cataphract, although I think it's considerably less toasty with 1.13 Heat eff.
Dammit, I'm meant to be saving up for an assault rig, but you're making me want to try speedy dragons again. ;_;
Would you go for the additional fragility of XL engines, with that dragon, as a matter of interest?
Not so keen on it with the 1C, although now that you mention it it might be work looking into with one of the other models.
