I've just noticed a difference between the fixtures in game and on the spreadsheet. Spreadsheet says I'm up against mrpier's high elves but the game says it's Grinn's scary orcs. Any idea which is right and how we change it?

On a side note, both those teams are at least 1000 TV ahead of me. I'm not sure I was making the most of my inducements in my last match. Does anyone have any suggestions for inducements for a rooky orc team against dodgy elves or bashy orcs?

Match Day 3 has you up against Pier's 'Insufferable' High Elves. Grinn's playing 'Hands. The game matches the sheet.

Morg n Thorg, a wizard, a couple of babes and maybe a halfing chef for fun. The orc star player is a bit pants. Can you get Ripper? If so get Morg and Ripper and a wizard.

Hey, Cyber - when are you free? I am booked Monday evening for the Divisions, but I've no plans for Tuesday.

I must have been looking at the wrong day then. Over enthusiastic scrolling finger. Ripper is a definite and I do like the chef despite the unreliability. A wizard too but i'm not sure about Morg. He's just so damn expensive. Definitely a bribe against the elves too.

Out of the gates quickly for Odin's Longboatsmen, already played game against LowKey's Doyouthinktheysaurus - game ended with a 1-1 draw.

A match played entirely in Sweltering Heat, which had a definite effect on the outcome of the match. Some errors on my part - misclicking with a Werewolf at the end of a blitz so he tried to GFI with a 5+ dodge roll, which unsurprisingly caused a turnover. An early score by LowKey left me with most of first half to equalise before receiving in second, an ideal position for me, but the utter inability of the Norse to catch a hand-off or pick up the ball after that meant I went in to half-time break still trailing 1-0 (both of us had used all rerolls by about turn 4 in the first half, meaning the latter stages were ... short). The second half kickoff saw about 50% of LowKey's team relegated to the KO box to sleep off their heat exhaustion, allowing me a fairly straightforward grind back up the pitch to secure the draw (not something I like doing, but I didn't see I had much option at that point in the game).

    Other notable events:
    - Drunk'en Stitches, the team apoc, actually managed to save one of the runners from the dreaded white skull of doom and get him back on his feet.
    - Sidestepping skinks being a real pain in the backside as they swarmed upfield and surrounded my ball carrier at the start of the second half (about the only move that LowKey had at that point) and were then ineffectually pushed around for a bit, until I swarmed them with my own surplus players.
    - A werewolf burning my last team reroll in the first half to change a double Both Down to ... double Both Down. Yay.
    - A saurus pulling off an AG1 dodge to blitz the ball carrier down, but with LowKey's lack of players the equaliser was more or less inevitable.
-Lastly, Morg got KOed on the last turn of the game. I think he'd done something to offend LowKey, who basically set up to pummel him.

Good game chap and nice to play against you. Got me some skillups for a couple of players, but only a measly 20K GP from the match...

I can manage either of those days although probably the earliest I can manage though is a 7:30pm (UK) start, with 8pm preferable.

Yeah Jol this job is going long. No chance I'll be finished tomorrow and I'm probably looking at working through the night to meet the deadline so Wednesday will be a write off too. Still waiting to hear back from Zeno but our Divisions match may well be on Thursday night so that leaves Friday onwards which is wide open at the moment. Early afternoon Saturday or Sunday would be my first choice but I can work around you with enough notice.

Sometime in the weekend should be good, though I prefer to plan them early to avoid blocking up an entire day. How about 10 am on Saturday, too early?

Sinister Sixteen (Cha, me) vs Dodge 'n' Dance (WElf, Corkir)

Had my game against Corkir last night. Despite a promising opening turn (mushed the elfy LoS and KOd the treeman, who was then out for the entire match) and the constant numbers advantage, I couldn't keep up with Corkir's fearsome AG 5 Strong Arm thrower and 2 Strip Ball wardancers. This would have the be the one game where my Sure Hands beastman is MNG'd too!

Corkir's high speed neutralised any attempt I made with the ball, and a chronic lack of PoWs in the second half led to very few elfy casualties. We had a few KOs each by the end of the match, but only one Cas each - both from being shoved into the crowd.

I didn't even use both my apothecaries, and I'm thinking I should start spending that 100k on a TRR or double-babes instead.

    Full-time Score: 3 - 0 to the Dancers.

    Injuries:
    • Sinister 16 - My Block/Mighty Blow beastman took a -1 AG, which he had to swallow as the quack apothecary rerolled it to a death. Not disastrous, especially since the MNG comes right before my bye-week.
    • D&D - Corkir's injured lineman ended up with a mild MNG.

    Awards:
    • My minotaur Daisy reached level 4 off the back of a fluke interception, then earned the MVP to boot. I had already put off firing her after two level ups and no double, but she was so close to her third I decided to keep her on just in case... aaaand no double this time either. So, her days are numbered. However since I can't afford to hire a new minotaur right now, Daisy will stick around a little while longer. My next two games (ignoring my bye-week) are against lizards and goblins, which got her so excited she grew a Tentacle! True story.
