3 Feet High and Rising (Helf - Laneford) 1 - 2 Strenuous Garfighters (Nor - Zoraster)
A fairly standard 2-1 loss for my high elves against Zoraster terrifying Mighty Blow / Piling On loaded Norse.
I had 10 players available to start the match, swiftly reduced to 8 players after 2 turns, ending the half 1-0 down with four fit players. Thankfully I suffered little other than a badly hurt or two, and many ko's. And a dead journeyman (its what he would've wanted)
Zoraster held the ball with relatively little fuss, I had one turn when I had a shot at a decent blitz at the ball carrier, but in a running theme of the game, rolled double 1 making the GFI. (GFI's were cursed for both teams this game). Garfighters scored a standard TD in T8.

I recieved the kick off, all my KO's miraculously recovering, bringing me up to 8 players again. I scored a standard long pass 2 turn TD, to equalise.

The second drive from the norse was less brutal, but no less effective. I tried to run a screen defence, but after another few KO's, and BH's, decided discretion was the better part of valour, and retreated most of players to lick their wounds and hit lone norseman. Zoraster ran in the winner on the last turn of the game.

I desperately need some cash to buy some more players. I won a paltry 10k which was all eaten up by my overpaid overskilled fancy dan elveses.

Ah okay, I can try to re-schedule my DoD game, failing that could you play in the evening (say starting after 9pm) 'Hands? I'm out all morning and early afternoon so can't play then. Hopefully Alethron will be okay with changing our game, I'll ask him.

Prester needs a few more skills on his elves before they can compete with the fatter, older teams. Too many rerolls needed at the moment.
I won't be back from the hyperborian wastes of Orkney until some time considerably after 2pm, I'm afraid - sorry, would have said sooner but hadn't realised the round was due to end so was expecting Sunday for the match. Barring further misadventure I'll see you on Steam Saturday evening, but I can't see it being before 6 at the earliest.
