@Everblue: Couldn't say at this point, I'll be able to tell you tomorrow evening if I have time Tuesday.

Oops... I've been on Steam all the while though, so you could have pinged me. Anyway, I'm around now if you are?

On second thoughts, looks like we could do with an extension until tomorrow evening? Pretty please?

I am playing Helio at 2100 UK time on Tuesday which means the week will need to be moved on by then.
If you're angling for extensions to Tuesday you'd need to start your game by 1900 UK time.

PW's scheduled game on Tuesday does seem like a good cutoff point. Get your games played before then and all is forgiven.

It is done: 5-4 to the Angels against WebCole's Welfy Woodland Creatures in a tense, exciting and very welfy match. Wardancers leapt, throwers threw, catchers caught and just about everyone dodged. The clincher was a T16 one turner by my super mega star catcher.

Roll it on Jolima - as feared I'm not going to have time to meet Everblue tomorrow. Give us the default draw. :(

Everscrew and Bluey, will you be able to get your game in tomorrow? You'd need to start by 7pm uk time.

Thanks chaps. I'll give you the 0-0 and roll it on about half 8 tonight if nobody else has first. Sorry you couldn't quite get your game in.

It was just a very awkward week. When Everblue first said he was going to be away for a week, I didn't yet know I would have family visiting when he got back.

Hopefully I'll face the amazons next season!

(Also PW, if you could make sure my minotaur gets the MVP that was be super. :P )

And if I'd known that you couldn't play at the weekend then I *could* have played while I was on holiday, but it would have been very difficult to arrange and to agree with my wife. Grrr.

I specifically took level ups to help in that game too. Hey ho.

What level-ups were those? And I assume they can be used to good effect against the other bashy teams in the league? :)

I took two dirty players. Up from zero.

Yes, they can be used against Weasel.

As the founding father of the RPSGFS (Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Gang Foul Society) I find these movements to accept to facilitate and and distribute devastating pile ons heartening.
But can I say a word on our sister Association the 'Casual Fouling Fellowship' who suggests that teams who cannot spare the manpower to gangfoul should consider sneaky git as even a 1 man foul on a treeman or an AV9 regen like a mummy can be entirely worth it with sneaky git.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

With SG but no DP if you break armour on an AV9 foul with no assists you have around a 45% chance of being sent off (two of the six dice combinations which result in a 10 or better are doubles, and then you have a 1/6 chance on the injury roll too). You are more likely to get sent off than to get a KO or better (42%).

I don't like those odds. Your old motto of go hard or go home was better!

Anyway, we've been over this before.

Do you like those odds better if you're using a one-skill-up cheap-ass piece like a hobgoblin or rotter against an expensive-in-the-first-place several skill ups player like a developed tree or tomb guardian, and you have a couple of replacement cheapos sitting on the bench? Because I do.
