I'll just be sticking to the Divisions for now, my interest in playing BB has been dwindling these last few months.

Now that we've several veteran teams with nowhere to go, I was thinking of organising that "Club 18-30(k)" league/cup idea I had way back. Only bloated teams with spiralling expenses can apply :P

Right now I am winding down a bit though. Not for a lack of enthusiasm for the game, but for a period of respite as my schedule's been manic lately. For now I'll focus on the DoD and concluding the Stunty season.

There was also mention of the cripple cup which would be another nice distraction for you all, and we only need so many regular leagues around here anyway.

Seeing as BB2 is forseeably due to be released sometime this year, we may end up with a BB2 league in tandem with the DoD - depending on the perceived quality of the product and the uptake of course.

    Ahah, funny, perceived quality.

It'll be shit and we'll all eat it up with a grin.

Probably or some of us. But there will be a big disparity in available teams at launch, so BB1 leagues will undoubtedly stick around a while longer.

The Open as a concept, is a good one. Having something to do with all those Nagg teams once they hit kill-team-tv is a good thing. However, at least call it something different, for Nuffle's sake. We're RPS chaps, aren't we? Aren't we all supposed to be Linguistics geniuses with minors in language studies?

I've always like the name ;). But anyway, I'm cool with keeping it going in some form, if people want it still (I know I do), whether it's the same name or not, or the same or similar league rules, and whether or not we use the same spreadsheets, etc.

If people want something completely different now, fair enough... I wouldn't mind helping out there too.

There's really no need to use spreadsheets. The fixtures are generated in Cyanide, BBM generates league tables and statistics if you make uploading games mandatory, etc. Every other league I have ever been in has managed without them.

Check out the Big Crunch section of the BB Tactics forum, for example

But I can study (and occasionally do ;)) spreadsheets at work. I can't install BBM, or rather, I can't connect to the Blood Bowl game servers from work. ;)

    Google Doc Spreadsheets! So good!

You don't need BBM open to see the league tables. Your browser pulls the data direct. I'm also at work and can browse the tables.

Here are the league tables for this season

And here are the stats for each division

I'd like to be part of whatever the open morphs into - especially if the schedule is around the two week mark.

I'll be in for a successor tourney too, particularly in a not-dissimilar long format.

Absolutely - as mentioned before, I retired my DoD Dwarves specifically to join the Open, so I'm all for joining whatever shape this takes!

Just as a heads up I'd be considering my no bash 'fling team for this (pretty much would guarantee deeproot, a chef and Zara each game) but I could enter a "proper" team if you'd like.

I just fancy being a wildcard with no pressure - the rest of my leagues are all fairly serious - but am happy to change if this isn't done?

Halfings are welcome ;). Everblue (I think?) ran a team of them a couple of seasons ago.
