So did mrpier see you skipping a turn? I had assumed it was his turn and he just walked it in before the game caught up to the lost connection.

I didnt skip a turn as far as I know. Situation is this: His ball carrier is touching two of my players but he needs a dodge and two GFIs to make the it. I have a thrower near my endzone so a fail could have him recover and pass the ball up (have a blitzer near his endzone). Slim but possible if the dice fail.
That's when the game drops. It seems like on his end he actually scored. Not sure how that happened. The lagginess throughout the game was staggering - clicking on a piece and then not seeing the green thing for 20 secs or so, most movement in stutters etc. We had a few lost connections with timers too so the connection was all over the place throughout the thing. Mrpier had the advantage for sure but Nuffle's will is fickle and the game was a good 4 turns from done.

I'd rather not replay a game I think I would have won anyway, and I'm not confident my team could do it again against all that MB/PO and tackle. :-) Timing wise it's iffy, tonight I have a Div. of death match and saturday is not going to work for me.
Here's the replay for those who are interested:

It makes sense we re split on the call so I'll abide with whatever Jolima decides.
I can make the 5-8pm slot you had suggested yesterday.

2-0 with 4 turns to go, he has the ball, and you'd be kicking off even if you did miraculously score in a single turn to make it 2-1 when he was in scoring range to make it 3-0?
I admire your optimism, but that does look like a loss.

It's not optimism, it's Orc-Headedness :p

Looks like Duffin vs HughTower is the only match remaining. A quick browse through the last few pages didn't show anything written about it and the deadline is tomorrow. Are you getting it played?

That should be fine, or atleast sometime close to that, I'll be around on Steam most of the afternoon.
Just need to go out for some milk, will be back at the computer in 10 mins!

I do, baby, I do. It's just that my router has decided to fall over for the weekend.
Please accept my most sincere apologies. I'll have to take the loss I imagine, giving that the league needs to move on and I don't know when I'll be able to play

Nah, give us a draw, as we both forgot to arrange something until the last day!
04-12-2011, 11:19 AM #1093
I set it to a draw and moved the league on. The next set of matches are marked up in the spreadsheet with a deadline of next Sunday (but with some leniency allowed this time).
Zoraster, time for a top-of-the-table clash between us. When suits?

Ian when do you want to battle to be the 5th-bottom of the group?

Hi Grinn - when would you like to play? Currently I have Tuesday to Thursday evening starting between 7.30 and 8.30pm GMT free. Any of those suitable?

Hey mrpier, I probably won't be able to play until next weekend. This week is shaping up to be a busy one. Are you available next weekend? I can do either day, and for added fun I'm GMT-7 so typically my morning/afternoon (your evening) seems to work best.
