Lookin' 4 Indie Bundles? We track 'em! http://steamcommunity.com/groups/IndieBundleTracker
I'll go beyond genres. What the PC is missing the most is influence from Japanese developers. For various reasons they practically ignore PCs. Some of them release their games on PC, but most of them don't.
I don't miss anything from Japan lol, they release some of the most bizzare shit out there.
... I take the lives of a few to protect the lives of many. I commit acts of war to preserve the greater peace. I take no joy in killing, but make no mistake; I'll do what needs to be done. Because it's my job. It's my duty. My name is Sam Fisher, and I am a Splinter Cell.

Need moar fighting games. The last PC only release I knew is One Must Fall: 2097, which is ancient as the stone age but there was a Street Fighter IV port release two years ago.

I'd love to see a gladiatorial management sim.

I don't really think Outrun 2006 qualifies as a "realistic driving game". It's as arcade as a game can get.
Not exactly fighting games, but these guys make a lot of local multiplayer action games for free: http://teknopants.com/game/
0space is a riot for local deathmatch, and the upcoming Samurai Gunn looks killer as well.
I think OpenGlad is about as close as you are going to get: http://snowstorm.sourceforge.net/cgi...?page=openglad
More of a large scale fantasy army game, but you can train your individual soldiers and monsters...
