You monster...
Ok, yes, I just posted it so I could make that comment.

Go Ellen!
Hope the film has more going for it. Not holding my breath. I love Pan's Labyrinth. Also, for the millionth time this...
Can you say... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
On the one hand, Pan's Labyrinth, Idris Elba without a fakey American accent and kaiju.
On the other hand, Hellboy 2, Hellboy 2 and Hellboy 2.
On the one hand, I won't be able to not think of GlaDOS.
On the other hand, it looks so ridiculous, so stupid and so pointless that I can't help but think "...man, I'm going to see the crap out of this!"
This movie is gonna be stupid crap, but people will love it anyway.
But where did he come from, this fleck of spite in an abandoned paradise?
So basically this is "Neon Genesis Evangelion",american style :| Del Toro is highly overrated anyway,so i was not surprised by weak cgi,bad monster/robot design, bad acting etc.
... I take the lives of a few to protect the lives of many. I commit acts of war to preserve the greater peace. I take no joy in killing, but make no mistake; I'll do what needs to be done. Because it's my job. It's my duty. My name is Sam Fisher, and I am a Splinter Cell.
Get out! NOW!
On a more serious note, sure it could be taken as a NGE american style, but why would that be a bad thing? It would remove all the stupid aspects like people becoming computers, clones and questionably ethical relationships but keep all the good things. Giant fighty robots.
Mechs, GLaDOS and Stringer Bell (Idris Elba is popping up all sorts of places these days, I like that)? Sign me up.
I take photos of space and talk about it sometimes: http://ofspaceandthings.tumblr.com Also, I am making a game for which there is a development log: http://elegythegame.tumblr.com/

I want the red one. Because it's red and thus goes faster. Also four arms.
Well bite me,cgi in trailer didn't impressed me.

Hey look, another trailer with the horn sound effect between shots!
Also, I didn't know GlaDos would be in this.

This is the sort of film that I shouldn't go to see in the cinema, because I'll be making stupid comments and laughing at all the wrong bits (I feel sorry to anyone who has sat by me and my sister in a film). I imagine it will be nothing I haven't seen before, with the same plot and utter lack of logic, doesn't mean I won't enjoy it while I'm watching it.
Oh ,and since when is the most effective way to attack a monster with modern weaponry to get up nice, close and personal with F22s so you can use their cannons?
Why do people insist on acting like stupid mindless fun can only equate to uninspiring, unoriginal, cliched, macho crap?
Not that this means that Pacific Rim will be any of those, but you can forgive a few of us for having that impression after all the orange and teal action films of late. I think the trailer alludes to the film having some vague social critique. All I know is, elbow rockets. Fucking. Elbow. Rockets.
