Right - first turn done, we're underway! These Clan of Embers dudes sound an interesting bunch to play - I anticipate having to play quite differently from my usual Civ IV style.
Yeah, with the Clan of Embers you actually want to keep your score low for some time, so you don't have to fight barbarians and can take full advantage of Rantine, you heror (whom you get quite early).
Don't give em hints! My last single player game was with them and they're mean!
Is it normal for Decius to have to choose his alignment? I haven't played this much.
Just had a problem with my save to Logsworth, seems to be some errors with overwriting old saves (as the year in the filename isn't changing). Had to delete the previous save and take my turn again to make a new one.

@Gorzon - cheers! Yeah, Rantine and the whole barbarian affinity thing with the CoE is an interesting mechanic - I like the way this mod kind of lets every side bend or break one of the normal rules...
So is the plan to role play limited to in-game choices, or are we posting smack-talk in character as well? I reckon it could be fun, but maybe I'll limit myself to a write-up later if it doesn't sound like your (collective) thing.
@Kelron - from what I can see on the wiki, looks like Decius gets to choose to be Bannor, Calabim or Malakim at the start.
