Hey everyone, I still haven't received any challenge from my round 0 challenger CedarMadness. I sent him a PM on the RPS forums here on Thursday, but haven't heard anything back. It's getting close to the end of round 0. Should I try challenging him?

I'm up against Vfig next, and I've been through most of the servers (to try and make contact) without finding him/her at all. I wonder if it's a typo?

Not a typo, though it should be lowercase (if that matters for FS).

I’m just now trying to work out where I should install the maps in the Mac version of FS, and we can get the game happening.

Edit: Right, got the maps installed. I’ve not seen otherwise in this thread, but I’ll assume I should use the default advanced game settings: vis at time zero, turn limit 5, turn length 5000, I play side 1?

vfig, read the first post of the matchmaking thread. Extermination is 8 turns time limit.

Since the match is with rockets you should be fine. since camping is extremely hard.

The default 5 turn is very daft, its not even the time for even one of the modes.

I'm getting really confused by "round 0" being referred to "the first round." It hurts my poor little head.

But as far as I can tell, my first game is in the second round, which is round 1, which starts soon. I'll set up the game tonight, if it hasn't already been setup when I log-in

Symmetric - there are a bunch of symmetrical maps in the pack Inverselaw put out.

Assuming you've saved all the maps in the Frozen Synapse\psychoff\data\userlevels\ directory:

Multiplayer > Create a game > Advanced setup > Load level
