    Something technical:
I just found the solution of how to use the POV pad of my Logitech 3D Pro for the cockpit view. Sounds boring but that actually drove me nuts

I added the fix over at pcgamingwiki:

I don't think "looking miserable" qualifies as "tangible".

That makes it even more futile.

Quick braindump of some stuff I haven't seen posted here that might be interesting and/or helpful:

On gravity lifts you can hold your jump/crouch key to elevate/descend much faster than standard. be wary that you will need to look at the horizon when you do this or you will drift out of the gravity beam!

As infiltrator, if you stealth, then crouch, then move slightly in any direction then remain still, you are practically invisible to other players. You can see the effect of your cloak on your weapon, watch as it becomes basicly 100% transparent.

As Vanu Light assault/engineer if you love close quarter combat but hate shotguns, the VX67 rifle is what you want, grab the adv. laser sight (200 cert) and this thing hipfires as accurately as if you were ADS. The rate of fire is also insane.

MAX suits will detonate antitank mines if they walk over them. -Protip for biolabs

ALL single man fighter craft can increase their top speed by flying at max thrust and then tipping their nose down slightly and holding your vertical thrust key (default jump). This can be increased by upgrading hover stability airframe I believe.

Rockets and other explosive ordinance do 240% damage if you hit the rear of a vehicle with it. They do 10% LESS damage (and 15% against vanguards) if you hit the front of the vehicle, and normal damage if you hit the sides/top. This is further modified by whatever armour plating cert the vehicle has. Moral of the story = get behind the tank!

Rifle IRNV sights can see cloaked infiltrators.

Literally just registered to share this gem.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vucGLBGA6ts

It shows how to climb amp station walls with non-LA classes. Who knew?

    Also, two words. Giraffe camo.

On the topic of Scythe-flying, this was a pretty good vid, by a fellow Swede, no less, by the sounds of it.
Some decent-to-good tips on fighting other aircraft in the Scythe.

As I am always confused which one to get (hopefully haven't missed any)
(also does not include Sniper scopes but those are pretty much the same anyway except round vs edged)

    Vanu Scopes:

    HPR Reflex (1x)

    VHO Reflex (2x)

    VMS 3.4x

    V3 Holo 3.4x

    OG-4 (4x) (my personal recommendation for a 3-4x scope)

    CSZ (4x)

    Trigun-6 (6x)

    HS/NV (1x)

PS: Pictures are gathered via G**gle image search. No credit to me

You could also do a YT search for "Planetisde 2 [faction] scopes". There's a video for all of 'em.

Yep. But I found those a little "hard to use" if you need a quick reference.

A few useful tips here, especially for the novice, some of them are fairly obvious, but it never hurts to reinforce prior knowledge:

Some pretty good stuff on that reddit thread. A few of them highlighted how it can pay to be unpredictable, stuff like running away in one direction then doubling back, camping doorways for a few kills then pulling back to catch them trying to flank you etc.

One of them reminded me - if you are having a shootout from behind cover, it can be helpful to pop out for a split second just to see what's happening, then when you pop up a second time you can be firing almost immediately. It adds to the 'unpredictable' thing and lowers the time you are exposed for.

Something I found via a video:

There is no aiming sway with the nightvision scopes. If you jump with a regular sight, it sways. If you jump with NV, nothing happens.

So is the flash radar intended then? (not that its much use, it despawns after 5 min anyway)

Very usefull when securing small bases against infantry. Too bad the minimap doesn't have a zoom level setting so we can get more detail.
