In a similar note, to avoid the repost, there's Swaim.

Just watch the entire Cracked TV series. It's like The Daily Show, only about the 'Net, AND better.

Very nicely done video of the growth of Amsterdam in the 17th century.

The "fortifications designed by Dutch Jesuit Padre João Piscásio Cosmander represent the best surviving example of the Dutch school of fortifications anywhere". The plot thickens, because last time I checked, João Piscásio isn't a very Dutch name.

All kidding aside, the star-like constructions go way back.

Star forts were employed by Michelangelo in the defensive earthworks of Florence, and refined in the sixteenth century by Baldassare Peruzzi and Scamozzi. The design spread out of Italy in the 1530s and 1540s.

As to what is going on, here's the video's description from youtube.

Do dogs react to magic? Watch as magician & mentalist Jose Ahonen vanished some dog treats under their noses. By the way, all the dogs got treats before and after the trick :)

Part II coming soon, be sure to subscribe to be the first to see it!

I'm pretty sure the Geneva Convention had a paragraph about this. Poor doggys.

What does F1 need to make it even more cool to watch? What does it not have, but Indy racing have?

    VISOR CAMS.

Do watch in HD for maximum Keanu Reeves reactions.

Thanks for that. After the rather underwhelming Malaysian Grand Prix yesterday, that bit of action came exactly at the right time. Looking forward to watching the race in Petersburg once it appears online.

That said, F1 has tested the helmet camera at a few occasions, such as in Monaco:

French man walks backwards through Tokyo, then plays the footage in reverse.

I don't remember seeing that, but that's certainly cool. Shame the quality is poor. The HD of the one I linked really makes it stand-out as being utterly crazy.
