I actually just remembered how my older brothers and me were gathered around the PC (being the youngest I never got to play, cruel older brothers) while progressing into the first Harkonnen mission that had the Devastator unlocked (Mentat was boasting about its power in the mission briefing screen, rubbing his hands, muahahaha). We built the required tech and saved up for THE Devastator. It took AGES to build... When it finally was done, it took AGES to get to the enemy base... Then - I don't know what were we expecting; the whole base to be blown to bits by this super unit? - it got shot dead within seconds by turrets. Biggest disappointment of my childhood :'-(

Music was and is awesome though!
    Probably my favs:

Dayum. One of the reasons I play Harkonnen, other than their tanks, is the music. Harkonnen Triumph sounds so boss

Warcraft and Starcraft limited unit selection, which in pro Starcraft a huge handicap on players and made a difference between the good and bad.

C&C always allowed mass selection. Warcraft 3 allowed it last I remembered.

No, no. I think it was Starcraft II that allowed that. WC3 allowed about 16 units

    Warcraft 2 - 9
    Starcraft - 12
    Warcraft 3 - 12
    Starcraft 2 - 24
