Another good session folks, we had 8 people in Mumble at one point. That's frustratingly close to being 12, which would be perfect to host a private RPS-only game. Sigh.
I'll give the group a plug when RPS posts about the imminent Gorgeous update at the end of February, see if we can attract a few more.

So after being posted on the front page the video views went from 50 something to 1,500 in a day! We must get new people.

So, the evening didn't turn out quite as free as I'd imagined, which lead to me abandoning Sketch and Monsieur K. I'm sorry for that and I hope Sketch knew how to behave himself infront of a frenchman.
My first puplicly commanded game turned out to be a total fiasco, being credited by one team mate with the words "worst game so far this night". It's not quite a "stop using that aimbot!" but maybe I'll get there with my commanding eventually...

that sucks. I love how the players that complain about commanders are the ones who'd never dream of jumping into the chair/hive themselves. Idiots.
This is why I'm so eager to get an RPS-only session going. Everyone can have a go at commanding in a more relaxing environment.
We could try it with a low number of players, but NS doesn't scale very well unfortunately. Twelve players is really the minimum you need.
Haha, I forgot about that. Kwiz you need to stop being so good at NS2, people are beginning to complain!

Stale biscuits and a cup of tea is about all I can muster, but yes, I should be around for some NS2.
I'll put an event reminder up on the steam group for about 8pm, when I get home.
On a related note, I was thinking of promoting someone else in the steam group to 'Officer' so more than one person can post events and stuff. It makes sense to have more than one person, just in case I'm not around.

What do you reckon would be a decent number of players to have a go at an rps private session ? 8 players would be a bare minimum, I guess.

I've had NS2 installed for a week now, I'll try to figure out the basics and intermediates and join you folk in Mumble. Promise to keep it lowkey, not be my usual surprised exclamatory self.
