    Sounds like. Tho I do like blockade armour a lot, would quite like a reason to start using it again instead of mineguard.

    Most people forget that these even exist.

    BTW, mineguard is still useful. In fact, most engineers will now survive the attack and throw a grenade at the sundy or use the underbarrel launcher (glad I bought the Solstice SF when it was 80% off - either grenade to detonate the mines, or smoke to cover the approach and escape). If they don't survive, they will come back just to finish the job, before someone else does and steals their XP. And if they die and the sundy has fully certed mineguard, they can bring even more mines and seal the deal. Previously the mines would detonate, only partially damaging the sundy, and then the attending engie could repair it before the next suicide bomber showed up.

    This has solved nothing. Just a developer caving in to forum whining.

    Wow reading on reddit it seems they really fucked up bad with this patch... bases taking forever to cap, massive beams of light (ITS VANU!), Crown, HVAR spawns being under ground like the stronghold used to be, Alerts finishing before they are supposed to (and awarding 20k exp that is 80 certs... which is insane. Sure the 2k they mentioned was a wee bit low but 20k?) etc

    Initial shot was very Lancer like, the alt fire seemed to be some kind of anti-personal blaster. I doubt they'll put both effects on one weapon.

    In the video he's heard mentioning that that is just a placeholder projectile or something to that effect.

    Wonder how long they are gonna leave it on the test realms... Seems they have removed a bunch of smaller bases, and reworked many others. Gonna be really interesting to see what they have done.

    http://i.imgur.com/HfplcCv.jpg this seems slightly too restrictive, especially up north at mao. they'll have to be really careful to balance the number of connections and available paths properly. wouldnt be good if we had to curse constantly about base x not being connected to y despite a road inbetween, etc.

    Alkali Shipping's connections seem odd - it doesn't really go anywhere.

    Losing spec ops and Lost end will be odd too, although lost end was definitley a waste of space.
