    This is a great idea. I'll keep my eyes open over the next few weeks and make a point of asking people if they'd appreciate a tour or something again. Fingers crossed we get some old faces returning when the Hossin update comes out, so things like this will be a good way to refresh and inform.

    Yeah, this is a really good idea. Getting word out would be important. Perhaps it would be best to set a date a week or so in advance and start mentioning it lots on mumble?

    Entirely agree! Especially giving people a heads-up about our current "operating procedures" as they are; how we tend to work, loadout selection, group tactics, what we call different parts of known buildings, stuff like that which will really help keep our response times down when things get hectic. Not having to explain all these things as and when the understanding of them is critically important to success would be an asset.

    In fact, how about we split this in two:

    Basics - literally just touring facilities and explaining the HUD, etc. Someone was suggesting sunderers in a biolab the other day which is a little reminder that the tutorial isn't comprehensive and we have new people so this would be useful for them.

    General outfit update - all the buzz word feed that Eso mentioned. It might take a while to agree what our standard procedures are but we are definitely developing some (e.g. for biolabs) and I think being clear on this would be beneficial to all.

    What's better than an LA with a shotgun? An LA with TWO SHOTGUNS!

    I remember them mentioning that in the past, guess it would be fun but presumably you would sacrifice the ability to ADS. So it would be shotgun-style hipfiring, otherwise it would be OP, right? Also is it AMA season or what, I swear I have seen 3 game devs doing them in the last 24 hours.

    ugh, i thought akimbo was off the table ever since there was negative feedback on the roadmap item?

    P.S. unless they're adding completely new weapons or limit it to certain empire specific pistols, this is going to be op as fuck, ads or not.

    They would need to dual wield new weapons for it to be balanced, surely? It would be really cool if they were very accurate, gunslinger style, but how could that ever balance with the ability to run and fly around at top speed.

    Anyway, it sounds good, LAs could probably do with a bit more firepower to make them competitive.

    It'll probably be akimbo pistols right?

    Anyways it'll be a terrible choice to add akimbo in any way to the game. But especially on light assaults. The ability to akimbo doesn't add to the class in any way. A far more original ability that is not just a plain damage buff would have my preference. How about an AOE debuff ability that slows the ROF and reload times of enemies around you for a short period of time. There are so many great ideas people could come up with. On top of that Akimbo is also something many fps have already done before.

    has anyone had any issues with ADS since the optimization patch? I'll be holding down the rmousebtn and it will flick the ADS off occassionally.. mouse `seems` to be functioning ok..

    I'm using ADS exclusively, and have never had a problem, either before or after the patch.

    Mouse issue, set it to toggle, won't have problems. Funny enough, same mouse issue makes half of my semi auto grinders to full auto.

    That sounds awesome. Probably constitutes hacking/unfair play, otherwise it would be worth looking into.

    Summary of the nerf:

    Prowler deploy: "Reload speed increased by 36% and projectile speed increased by 45% when deployed." changed to "Reload speed increased by 36% and projectile speed increased by 08% when deployed." (similarly, 60% changed to 10%, 15 to 04...)


    I read that to mean "we're removing the AA capability of the Prowler". Hurrah! Obviously the TR have hit Reddit hard to complain. I feel a real sense of schadenfreude as a result of the comparable major nerf that hit the Saron.
