    Yeah... No it isn't. It has accuracy of 0.75x MM weapon in ADS moving and best hipfire cof for carbines now that Lynx was nerfed in that respect.
    Zenith is way better allrounder than Solstice can ever be.

    Zenith is a better allrounder. Solstice is better at the medium ranges. In my opinion, of course.

    The cornerstone of the Light Assault revamp is doing akimbo weapons. They’re going to be able to dual-wield SMGs, dual-wield pistols, essentially. That’s sketchy for a variety of reasons in terms of player power, because Light Assaults are already incredibly deadly, so them having access to two of those weapons is going to be tough. It’ll probably be a tradeoff of not being able to use your Jump Jet. So now you’ve gained a lot of lethality, but you’ve lost a lot of your maneuverability.

    Not surprised. this seems like trying to shoehorn in something that sounds cool, at the expense of gameplay. Now I'm not going to claim an sort of deep knowledge of PS2, being a humble BR20, but isn't the Heavy Assault supposed to be the brute force option, with the LA being more tactical? And won't this mean defending forces can just defend groundfloor doorways, without worrying about balconies?

    Why dual wield SMGs though? Surely dual pistols with no ability to ads would be cool enough and more easily balanced, even with jumpjets.

    No, LA doesn't have good role on him atm. The ones it can have are severely nerfed by it's mobility.

    is adrenaline pump worth it.. have it on my infil but I'm sure that in a prolonged footzerg I didnt cover the ground much faster than some HA I was following..

    Hm, the light assault is a tricky beast. Sometimes useful, but mostly just lacks the toughness/punch of the HA or MAX, and the utility of the medic or engy.

    I find adrenaline pump to be a quite interesting option on the infiltrator for being that annoying flanker with a medium range weapon. Or for quick repositioning with the Phaseshift (it has unlimited ammo, so no need for ammo belt). I'm by no means a good sniper though, so take my thoughts with a pinch of salt.

    I rate the adrenaline pump highly. In addition to the uses LaKroy mentioned it's also good on a LA with a shotgun. The latency means that if you round a corner very quickly and hit someone with a pump action shotgun at close range they're dead before you appear on their screen (well, almost). Having a speed boost to help you do that faster and close the range to where shotguns really shine is a real help.

    Also, as infil or LA, if you find yourself chasing someone when they don't know you're there but you have a short range weapon (e.g. SMG or shottie) then being able to close the gap as you chase them around is very useful. Otherwise you shoot them from afar and then they turn around and blast you.

    Adrenaline pump isn't actually any good. Due to sprint being counter intuitive on traversing corners. Now is AP gave a short Charge version, it would be worth it, now however...

    Oh god, yes. I barely play LA, but dual SMGs? No thanks.

    I'd rather they'd give them increased movespeed and accuracy over other classes. Like, ADS penalty halved (a .5x ADS weapon would become a .75x, and a .75x would become a .875x one). And maybe just better moving/jumping ADS cones.

    That would let them fight while mobile.

    This is so fucking retarded that i can't really find appropriate words. The only way dual wielding shit could work is if you do it with an entirely new set of weapons. The only weapon that wouldn't completely break balance when it's dual-wielded is the beamer, and that's just because it's crap. Double commissioner one-shots everything, and double SMGs have a TTK that no one will ever be able to react to. This is beyond stupid.
