only negative-ish thing from the patch notes is that C4 will despawn when you die ...
No that is a very good thing, as long as we cannot disarm explosives there must be a way to get rid of them once stuck to a sundie. This way we can at least kill the bastard before he can detonate. No its not the same thing with mines (just preemptive answer to the most common "BUT MIINES!?!?!?")

In other news ... patch is up, and it's 2 gigs. So better get on with downloading it if you dont live in Scandinavia.
Instant action has been redesigned to be a single button press, with no on-map indication of where it will send the player, but it will still hot-drop them onto a facility with heavy combat. This is to prevent people from exploiting instant action as an organizational tool, which is what people were using it for previously. If you are in a squad and not the leader, a second button for squad deploy will appear.
We did that a lot... bugger - but it makes Gals even more important!

Fixed bug that was causing the hit box and the player model to not match when jumping.
That would explain a lot of the bunny-hopping. The C4 change also needed to happen, as it was always weird you could detonate it from 5km away after respawning.
It also looks like my Reaver's going to gather dust as Annihilator squads and burster MAXs roam the hills looking for xp.
Placed C4 will now despawn when the source player dies.
Galaxy: 400 xp, increased from 300 xp
Liberator: 500 xp, increased from 150 xp
ESF: 400 xp, increased from 75 xp
MBTs: 500 xp, increased from 100 xp
Lightning: 400 xp, increased from 100 xp
YES !! Now, let's hope they fix the tank mines.
