    Pre-purchase Bastion now on Steam!

    http://store.steampowered.com/app/107100/

For 13,99€ or a similar amount of £.

I bought this on the Microsoft toy box (it was part of their Summer of Arcade) and I enjoyed it a lot more than From Dust, I can even truthfully say that this was one of the best games I have played this year. It has no clever new game mechanic, no epic 40-hour campaign and no groundbreaking graphics, but it has such a beatifully told story that I nearly had tears in my eyes at the end. Your mileage may vary and not everybody seems to like the narrator or the visuals, but if the screenshots and the trailer appeal to you, be sure to give this a try.

I've been waiting for this to hit the PC! I had no idea it would be so soon -- and it's being released on my MOTHERFUCKING BIRTHDAY!!! I better love this game! :D

I got a free copy of Bastion for 360 through a contest and sold it for $8 because I knew it would come to PC eventually :)

In other news, I'm rather shocked it's coming out so quickly, being an XBLA Summer of Arcade title.

@anyone who's played it, would you say it plays better with a controller or mouse + keyboard? Or makes no difference? (It's £1 cheaper on the xbox that's... 1/3 of a pint of beer I could save)

I approve of the use of dots to exceed the character limit.

The auto-targetting in the Xbox version is a bit... irritating from time to time. I they'll drop that in the PC version, it might definitely control better with mouse and keyboard.
