this stuff is a bit obscure, it's a common mistake to mix 10bit/8bit colourspace with 8 bit colour

in a nutshell:
8 bit colourspace = 16.1 million colours (Truecolor)
10 bit colourspace = over 1 billion colours

+1 to MSI Afterburner or whichever derivative of Riva Tuner. It's free and works, don't know how good it is if you wanna do something 'professional'.

as it is 8Bit per colour, and since a pixel consists of three colours, its 24 bits per pixel - so it's actually 24 * 1920 * 1080 * 60

hm, you're right. I hate maths.... that's the part I always end up "debugging" in my code.

You acted a bit condescending about it, instead of looking at your post again to see if you maybe had made a mistake. And then it turned out you made the mistake.

EDIT: Ok this is probably harsher than I intended, I'm sorry. But seriously, this isn't the first time I call you out on something. Please check your stuff if you're trying to educate people, because being wrong does a lot of harm to people trying to learn.
