I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

I normally try not respond with pictures but this seems like the right response.

I'm just gonna out on a limb here. Maybe Prester John's wife could pick out the game she wants herself? You know if she needs help, I'm sure he could browse Steam with her to find the things she's into. Something might stand out for her and you know she would be a far better authority on what she likes than people who've never met her.
Just a random thought there.
Broken Sword: Director's Cut from gog was a game that my wife liked (despite the fact that its story and characters are extremely silly, in that style of old adventure games that don't know how serious they want to be). You could make a very tenuous case that the item-combining in old point and clicks is a sort of collecting & crafting, too. =P
Wot I Think: The Game : an ongoing collaborative game-design experiment / comedic disaster here on the RPS Forums!
Kata vs. Kata : a game of simultaneous round-based predictive martial arts (like frozen synapse, but with punches)
Crossroads: The Haze : a game about princes eating soup in a turn-based wolf prison [*oversimplification detected*]

I disagree. :(
50% disagree. "No" is maybe too terse and your response would perhaps in fact be, "No. Nobody can travel this road for her. We must all browse Steam at some point in our lives. When it comes her time to journey, you may be able to offer subtle guidance. As for us, our best wishes go with you, but we are limited and distant; we will avoid well-meaning hubris -- we shall not interfere. -__-"

Are you implying we all personally know OP's wife?

I agree. :)
I do not speak for us all, but me and Mrs. Prester John go way back (I wasn't at the wedding but only because I had restaurant coupons that expired the same day). If my memory holds true, she was always the sort of person who liked building, collecting, crafting and puzzles but wasn't really into fast-paced combat or really difficult games. I even hazily recollect that she enjoyed things like just living in a virtual house in a forest...but the years do put a patina of fondness over many such memories, and people can change. Are you implying we all personally know OP's wife?
I know I sure have.
