I've used that format for a while now, it's the only one that sorts correctly when used in a file name.
Yeah, just a simple thing like that. It orders things consistently, from larger to smaller unit of measure. Good to hear you've seen the light!
Indeed it is the only system that actually makes any kind of sense, especially when sorting photos etc.
Had a beer, and as usual, I'm rocking out to ma "ya tube" (Scots giggle every time they visit the site. "You tube" is another way of calling someone a dick.) playlist. So I've decided to inflict it on you lot. Note, this thing is everywhere musically, from Cab Calloway to the Temper Trap, with lots of Metal/ rock. It features more than few tunes I'd love to see Jaguarskills to set a PS2 video to.

I've worked to Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) a few times at my job and we're forced to use the date format: e.g. 28-Feb-2013. Basically use the first three letter of the month each time. You do need to understand English though so not 100% ideal.
