    Off-topic

Post all your off-topic crap here, that you want to share with the rest of the Planetside 2 RPS community, but not necessarily post in the general discussions area.

    I'll go first:

    So there! Imperialists, conform!

I saw that one yesterday! Changed my life.

In a very small, almost insignificant way, but still!

Ridebird was one of them. I think someone else brought up UTC (or maybe UST), too.

I've used that format for a while now, it's the only one that sorts correctly when used in a file name.

Yeah, just a simple thing like that. It orders things consistently, from larger to smaller unit of measure. Good to hear you've seen the light!

Indeed it is the only system that actually makes any kind of sense, especially when sorting photos etc.

Had a beer, and as usual, I'm rocking out to ma "ya tube" (Scots giggle every time they visit the site. "You tube" is another way of calling someone a dick.) playlist. So I've decided to inflict it on you lot. Note, this thing is everywhere musically, from Cab Calloway to the Temper Trap, with lots of Metal/ rock. It features more than few tunes I'd love to see Jaguarskills to set a PS2 video to.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq3a_...eature=mh_lolz

Tunes I really would love to see JS (or any other vid maker) work with (nearly doubles as my playlist highlights :P ):

ZZ Top: Legs. (5 mins of female vanu )

    OMD: Genetic Engineering.

    Sepultura: Chaos BC.

    Pantera: Walk.

    Pantera: Domination.

Helene Boksle: The Dreaming Anew (For Age of Conan. Easily the greatest soundtrack to any game.)

Sparks: This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us.

    Clint Mansell: Lux Aeterna (Orchestral)

    Ministry: N.W.O.

Queens of the Stone Age: Go With The Flow

Creedence Clearwater Revival: Fortunate Son (remember this from the BF:BC2 Vietnam DLC?)

    Peter Gabriel: Games Without Frontiers

Dick Dale and the Deltones: Misirlou

Ministry: End Of Days Part II (10 mins long, includes a version of Eisenhower's "Military Industrial Complex" speech. Also includes the greatest line in ANY song; "Face Down on the pavement, dead drunk, at the end of our days")

Little known thing: Dick Dale recorded the soundtrack to Rocket Jockey, an obscure old mid 90s PC game in which you ride rockets around an arena, which you steer with grappling hooks, in a series of events in which you either need to knock a giant hockey puck into an opponent's goal, or knock all your opponents off their rockets and then brutalise them in a variety of ways, such as dragging them behind your rocket or simply crashing into them at top speed.

I could never get it to work on anything but my windows 98 PC, with a CD I bought six or seven years back. But let me just repeat:

Game about riding giant rockets with no brakes, which you steer using grappling hooks, which you can also use to attack your enemies.
