    Who's watching Eurovision then? Don't pretend you're above it. Sweden is hosting so there's no excuse.

    Well looks like its going to be in the distant land of Denmark next year. All thanks to a Scandinavian girl who forgot to put her shoes on. Again. I look forward to next year where presumably a Finnish girl will sing a song with no shoes on and win. Hopefully the UK will field someone under the age of 50 next time and write a song that doesn't bore everyone to tears.

    The biggest outrage about this year was that this guy didn't win;

    Indeed, what a travesty! He looks uncannily like a mesmer from Guild Wars 2.

    That guy is just letting the NC and TR cap all those points. Disgraceful if you ask me.

    Leave it to the Romanians: All at once, angsty glittery vampires and dubstep breaks are cool again!

    Also, there must be a contralto opera singer out there somewhere wanting her voice back.

    Given that the single appeared on my legitimately paid for spotify account and the album will surely follow, how unethical would it be for me to yoho a copy before it drops?

    That's not any form of leak. Its a different song that they've put up on their own site.

    Nope, I didn't watch it either. By choice rather than happenstance, even.

    I was working 7am until about 9pm yesterday, so I missed the start and didn't have the energy to see the rest. When Terry Wogan commentated on it I watched it religiously, but its just not the same without him

    Didn't watch it. By choice. Haven't even heard NL's song. Pretty proud of that.

    I... might have acquired Random Access Memories a few days ago though. Wasn't impressed. Maybe it'll grow on me.

    like Ive said before, its 70s nostalgia from a 90s perspective. I like it.

    It is. That's just not my bag. However I do have to say the ending song Contact is awesome.

    I can't believe I'm the only one that made the effort on ESC. Well, luckily for you I've been working on a PS2 video and it hasn't been going well at all so to take my mind off it I made an ESC highlight video.

    I figured it wouldn't take very long and would be fun to make.

    I was wrong. Enjoy 3 hours of craptastic entertainment condensed into 11 minutes.

    I will never ever understand why so many people love the Eurovision contest. Everybody says songs are awful, yet they keep watching it.
