RPS SimCity Regions: America West #4

    Hey RPS brethren,

Wanted to check in to see if there were any players on American West #4 who had a regions they'd like to invite some respectable RPS players to. I have a region as well and I would be more than happy to invite anyone who'd like to join up.

I'm not looking for anything highly organized but just a few good players to work with and knowing there are other people adding to the region in a good way.

Feel free to post and follow up as you like!

I only purchased it yesterday and got my city up to about 3000 residents. So I'll be learning as I go whichever region/specialties we go.

My only.suggestion is when anyone claims a city that you stick with it. If you run low on cash or just want to restart it we can send cash and you can just demo everything. My friend abandoned a city and I took it, raised 350k, demo'd it and gave it back to him to start over. I don't like seeing abandoned cities ;)

Whichever region you pick is fine with me, although it should have room for growth for others to join/us to incorporate. We can also organize our city labor in this thread; anyone have a plan in mind for their little lifebox?

I think the delta would be fun. It has a lot of special scenario towns that can be made.

I sent out invites and created an RPS Region for us.

I've started our first town and I'll be going heavy on ore/coal mining and manufacturing alloys. I wont have any schools so I'll need to send my sims somewhere for education.

Check it out and if you haven't received an invite please let me know.

Sounds great! Glad you could join us. I think once we have a few standard towns we will have some cool specialized ones. If you need anything just let us know.

I got some foundations set yesterday for a stable village - feel free to dip into the coal-generated power I'm producing. Getting closer to oil, too. I'll plop a grade school and a community college next to help everyone tech up. If someone else has convenient/plentiful water tables, I'd love to buy some excess from you. Ditto sewage capacity.

I'll make sure to add you tonight. I plan on getting my industry running full swing tonight and exporting freight for everyone. I'll also be running a few coal power plants for those who want to eventually remove their existing power solutions. I'm liking what I see!

Can't get on tonight as I've been at training. Will be on tomorrow night to build up the city some more

Edit: I've managed to get on for a bit. I now have a coal depot and trade depot running along with a Department of Safety. Will need some more power soon though.

I'll see if I can get some more power up before you're on next time. Don't worry about whenever you get on as I'll have a day or two between each of the times I play. Life is much to busy!

After last night I'm producing huge amount of electricity and will offer water cleaning solutions in the future. I need someone with a university to start researching some engineering for me and and other things so I can have a hasmat fire truck. I also have a transit bus station now for sims to come and go for work.

i still think regions are broken with buying power and water though :/
