Hey: You Can Play The Aaru’s Awakening Demo

Exquisitely pretty 2D platformer Aaru’s Awakening has released a demo to aid with their progress on the old Greenlight treadmill. What’s the word? This: “Aaru’s Awakening is a hand drawn 2D action platformer. The game requires players to make the most of Aaru’s two mobile abilities – teleportation and charging – as he travels through the world of Lumenox to defeat an evil entity. These two abilities are at the heart of every level design throughout the game, to make a challenging and fluid experience.” But can it challenge the current line up of 2D platforming prowess we have on PC? YOU DECIDE.

Demonstrated: The Pleasing Visuals Of Aaru’s Awakening

Good day to you, fine Internet. Lumenox Games send word that their beautiful 2D platformer, Aaru’s Awakening, has a new trailer, which you can find embedded below. It’s astonishingly pretty, and shows off the game’s key mechanic – teleportation – across some exquisitely hand-drawn levels. You really will want to take a look at this. But wait! As Alec previously noted, there’s also a demo over on the Greenlight page. That means you can play it.

Adventure+Jumping = Adventurumping: Aaru’s Awakening

A platform game? Looking for crowd-endorsement? Well, I never. Next you’ll be telling me that the Duke of Wellington is sailing down Oxford Street in a sailboat made of licorice allsorts.

Lumenox’s Aaru’s Awakening is doing the Greenlight dance as we speak, but has a demo to support its argument that the people deserve a visually lavish, hand-drawn 2D platformer.
