Time Paradox: Indie Royale Launches April Fools Bundle

I’m pretty sure the fumes emanating from Indie Royale‘s perpetually whirring bundle factory have finally gone to the shadowy conglomerate’s head. April Fools, after all, was days ago. Or perhaps… no. Perhaps the joke’s on us. Maybe Indie Royale spent the entire year secretly offsetting every calendar in the world by a couple of days. Now countless schedules are in tatters, nations are falling, and no one knows when Game of Thrones will be on again. Or maybe Indie Royale just needed a catchy title. At any rate, Defense Grid: The Awakening, Alien Zombie Megadeath, Explodemon, and Hack, Slash, Loot are up for grabs. Astro Tripper‘s the bonus this time around. Details on each after the break.

Not Just Astrotraining: Astro Tripper PC

Hullo! Me again. I’m still lolling around Kieron’s room, taking a break from gnawing. I see the last game Kieron played before passing, and starting to pass through my guts, was something called Astro Tripper. There’s some notes which I can just about read through the blood stains:
“After Gridrunner Revolution, a fine time for premium PC shootage”, “Early-00s Edge-beloved classic, rebooted”, “Derived from Defender-Derived Braybook classic Uridium”, “No demo yet, but original Space Tripper demo still out there“, “Why am I so lonely?”, “brutally punnishing” and “£9/$15“. Oh – look! There’s a video here of it.

Trip Into Space: Astro Tripper Coming Soon

Noticed this mentioned over at Rllmuk, but it appears that PomPom are reworking their classic award-winning early-noughties Defender/Uridium-esque shooter Space Tripper (Which is no longer on Pom’s site, but has a demo here). Little is known about Astro Tripper other than it’s got fourteen levels, will be available “soon” and has a trailer which you’ll find nestling beneath the cut…
