Kasketball Is Basketball With Cars, Obvs

Not coffins or anything.

Kasketball [official site] looks broadly like Rocket League with basketball, though with fewer rockets. It’s a four-player local multiplayer basketball ‘em up where, er, you race around in a car and dribble the ball with one hand out your window as you speed towards your a net and pull the car into a drift to shoot. Sounds splendid, that. I don’t think you can dunk, mind.

Alas, I’ve recently moved and am without the usual giant tangled ball of Xbox 360 controllers I usually keep at hand for local multiplayer antics. If you have a few controllers and pals nearby, though, you can grab it from Itch to play for free.

Mecha Sports: Regular Human Basketball Out For Free

Just shooting some b-ball outside of the school.

Basketball is played by giant robots, right? I must confess the sport is something of a blind spot for me, being raised in Blighty, so I’ll trust entirely in Crawl developers Powerhoof and their free video game adaptation Regular Human Basketball [official site], which is out now.

Basketball, I have learned from playing, is a local multiplayer sport for 2-10 players who scamper around inside a giant robot mashing buttons trying to make them move around, activating their wheels and magnet arms and rocket boosters, with the goal of slamming hot robodunks.

No Dribbling: Basketball

It doesn't look like much, but it's a bunch of fun.

I’ve been meaning to check out the enigmatically named Flash game Basketball for a couple of weeks, after spotting it via Mr Parkins’ blog, but first it wouldn’t work, and then I forgot. I remembered again! I’m glad I did. This is rather fun. As the canniest amongst you may have deduced, it’s a game based on an element of basketball – a sport in which you must put balls in a basket.
