‘Tis the day for revisiting indie delights from months gone by. In this case, scenery-destroying treat Tiny & Big: a game whose prototype demo offered lovely art, big ideas, crazy physics and slightly cumbersome puzzles. Developers Black Pants are gearing up for the game proper’s first chapter, ‘Grandpa’s Leftovers.’ Going on the trailer below, they’ve clearly ramped up the excellent world-cleaving merriment… CLEAVO!

Slice World: Tiny & Big

“You play a character with a giant laser beam and a grapple on a quest for a pair of underpants,” explains the kindly gentleman who tipped us off to the prototype/demo of episodic physics-platformer Tiny & Big: Up That Mountain. Yeah, I’ll bite. And I’m very glad I did. Sure, there are tons of games featuring laser beams – but none of ‘em allow you to slice 100-foot pillars into tiny pieces.
