An Indie Bundle Before Dying

By Alec Meer on December 12th, 2011.

The pay-what-you-want indie bundles are out there. They can’t be bargained with. They can’t be reasoned with. They don’t feel pity for your bank account, or remorse, or fear that gaming sites will stop posting about them. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you can’t read any more news.

So, Indie Royale 4, the Xmas Bundle: The Blackwell Trilogy: Remastered (now with brand new voice acting, which is a pretty good reason to be interested in this bundle), Eets, Dino D-Day, The Oil Blue.

You know how all this works by now. I am so very tired.

NAZISAURUS: Dino D-Day Beta Next Week

By Quintin Smith on February 23rd, 2011.

And they say PC gaming is dead.

I know this looks like an April Fools’ post, but bear with me. Dino D-Day, the Source engine-powered downloadable multiplayer game that Kieron posted about back in November will be genuinely entering an actual closed beta on March 1st, with all 12 classes (or rather, 9 classes and the raptor, dilophosaur and desmatosuchus). Those interested in acquiring a beta key (and how could you not be) should follow Dino D-Day on Facebook and Twitter, say the developers. I am genuinely excited about playing this with Spotify belting out some Wagner in the background. Full press release after the jump.

Company Of Dinos: Dino D-Day

By Kieron Gillen on November 13th, 2009.

I do like that the image file is called nazidino.jpg. Yay!

Effseven pointed me at this. I haven’t played it. It’s a proof-of-concept demo-release of the full game which the mod team will be playing. It could be terrible. It… actually, I refuse to believe it could be terrible. The world wouldn’t be that cruel. It’s a single player FPS mod about Hitler getting dinosaurs with the inevitable consequences. From the moment when watching the trailer the newspaper headline “DINOSAURS! They Are Real And The Nazis Have Them” appeared, there was no way I wasn’t posting this. Good luck in finishing it, Sez I.
